CONDUCCIÓ I FILTRACIÓ DE L’AIGUA
REUSE OF WATER FOR IRRIGATION
There is an increasing shortage of water available for the irrigation of crops, orchards or fruit trees. Water in agriculture is not wasted, it is used, but it is necessary to dispose of it. Since Hídric, I have been applying the knowledge of water purification physically and biologically for years to obtain effluents suitable for irrigation.
Water from treatment plants (septic tanks or municipal treatment plants or tributaries with a very high organic load) can be used again to irrigate the vegetable garden, fruit trees or even extensive ones. This is called Water Reuse or REGENERATION.
Regeneration can be done with passive ponds (it takes a lot of surface area and time), or with more regenerative systems alternating the strength of the tributary’s own microbiota and physical systems.
I never rule out the use of anaerobic-aerobic systems promoted with photovoltaics, nor the filtration technology used for example in very arid areas with great success.
Watering an entire crop of fruit trees (or even gardening), with the influx of black water from the septic tank, is possible and viable. Safe and at a much lower cost than buying water (perhaps a difficult option) or receiving a fine from the administration for not purifying.
REGENERATIVE PONDS OF RAINWATER, FACES, GRAY WATER
The use of rainwater or waste water for irrigation (orchards, fruit trees, gardening) requires processes involving different biodynamic factors.
The construction of regenerative ponds using the tributary’s own resources (untreated water) is a practical and simple solution. If you have enough horizontal surface and time (filtration rate), the regenerative pond is a very good option.
The pond can be expanded with bio-filtration systems (natural as aquatic plants or even aquatic vertebrates), which can help speed up processes. Also, sub-subsurface systems are a very good option to obtain optimal effluents for irrigation.
In more conflicting or high-load situations, it may be appropriate to introduce mechanical means of recirculation, in order to speed up the biological processes.
APROFITAMENT D’AIGÜES PLUVIALS
Taking advantage of rainwater is a very good option for irrigation in gardening or vegetable gardens. The use itself is simple, but sometimes a small study or technical report is required to be presented to the town hall.
At Hídric we can help you with these procedures or even with the supply of material. Galvanized sheet tanks or open trenches in the ground with geotextile membrane are a good option.
RYLBRUN TP-20: MÀNEGA PER A POUS AUTOPORTANT
Flexible hose Rylbrun OROFLEX-WELL
Self-supporting hose for water wells up to 250m. Suitable for potable water, it allows the pump and the electric cable to be held in open or small-section water wells (210, 300, 400mm). It is a reliable and very practical solution to replace the 6m metal bars.
Easy to install, only one vehicle is needed to lower the pump (or two operators in shallow wells).
It is cut to size and on 1-1/4″ diameters there are expansion fittings, already slotted in the shop.
Oroflex-Well is a very reliable hose, with tensile safety factors much higher than PE pipe. With the weight it lengthens between 1 and 5% depending on section and depth.
